Close appoints new regional sales director - August 7, 2012 Close Brothers Invoice Finance has appointed Martin Baker as regional sales director.   Martin will be based in Birmingham and will work with companies across the west Midlands, Hereford and Worcestershire, providing funding packages to SMEs and large businesses.   Prior to joining Close Brothers, Martin worked for Royal Bank of Scotland. He has more than 10 years’ banking, asset and invoice finance experience.   Martin said: “Small businesses are the backbone of our regional economy, and they are facing significant challenges in the current climate.
